About this event
The Village of Lombard invites the community to honor our nation's military veterans at its annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2026, at 11 a.m. The ceremony will take place at the Sunken Garden in Lombard Common Park, near the intersection of Grace and Maple Streets.
The ceremony will begin with a welcome from Lombard Village President Anthony Puccio, followed by an invocation from Reverend Dr. David Carlton of Community Presbyterian Church of Lombard. This year's keynote speaker will be Lombard resident and Vietnam Veteran Tom Zilla, who served in the U.S. Army and is currently Commander of VFW Lilac Post 5815.
In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved indoors to Lombard Village Hall, 255 E. Wilson Ave.
