About this event
Enjoy tea and cookies while exploring the fascinating history and traditions of tasseomancy, the art of divination through tea leaves.
Journey through the traditions of Europe and Asia as you learn how to select and prepare tea, choose the right teacups, and interpret the symbols formed by tea leaves. Discover how these symbols have traditionally been used to explore the past, present, and future.
Participants will experience the connection between personal energy and tea leaves, complete two readings of their own, and receive readings from instructors Karen Ward and Dawn Wrobel.
Karen Ward has worked as a medium and teacher for nearly two decades. Her passion for tea includes hosting high teas and themed mother-daughter teas at the historic Bradley House. Her interest in tea leaf reading began after attending a reading by Rev. Rena Caddel at Camp Chesterfield. Today, tea leaf reading is the capstone of her intuitive development courses.
Dawn Wrobel is an artist, intuitive, educator, animal communicator, and sound therapist with decades of experience. As a cultural geographer, she enjoys sharing traditions from around the world, including the art of tea leaf reading and the symbolic language of flowers.
