About this event

In Autumn, frigid air descends on the Great Lakes while the water temperature is still warm from summer. This temperature difference brings turbulent storms. Starting in 1679 when Le Griffon sunk in Lake Michigan, this presentation explores how the Witches of November (also known as the Gales of November) have been responsible for thousands of shipwrecks.
